Whatsapp is an effective tool for rapid communication of important messages. We have established a Whatsapp group for sharing information between local co-ordinators. Groups can only have 256 members, and there are far more people than this in Hastings Neighbourhood Watch schemes. We therefore encourage each local scheme to have a designated communications volunteer who can administer local Whatsapp groups …
